Bricycles

We're campaigning for safer streets for cycling in Brighton & Hove, so everyone can get around easily.

Join online from just £5 a year and get access to discounted cycling insurance and the latest information on local and national cycling issues. Cycling is a great way to get fit, relieve stress and get from A to B. It’s cheap, non-polluting, and best of all, it gives you a sense of freedom. We’re campaigning for safer roads and a full network of protected cycle lanes in Brighton & Hove so that everyone can benefit.

Bricycles attended the opening ceremony on Friday. It's so good that the main north-south route is now linked with the seafront east-west route. There are a few improvements that we'd like to see (thank you for your feedback) and we'll be letting the council know...

Valley Gardens 3 officially opens on Friday 16th October.

The cycle route crossings are now painted and the lights are working. From a brief observation, this seems to have solved the problem of drivers blocking the crossing, but have you had any problems? Any other issues/suggestions?

Our final round of affordable adult cycle training is taking place in October and we still have some spaces left.

Thanks to a generous grant from Sport England we've been running these sessions for five months, but as that funding comes to an end next month we'll be looking for more funding sources before we can confirm when future lessons might be.

So if you've been thinking about learning how to cycle or increasing your confidence on the road, now is the time to book! £30 for three, two-hour sessions on Sunday 4th, 11th and 18th October. Link to book in the comments below.
