The classic British weather kept us guessing, but the turnout and spirit were nothing short of amazing. Welcome to the British Country Show Kent!

Get ready for a fantastic weekend of countryside fun at the British Country Show, held at Wings of the Morning Field in Wrotham. Whether you're into thrilling arena displays, great food, live music, or just looking for a fun day out with the family, there’s something here for everyone.

Expect action-packed performances from the likes of Jonathan Marshall, Flyin Ryan, and the incredible Hennys Heavy Horses. Kids (and grown-ups!) will love the Punch & Judy shows, BMX stunts, dancing dogs, and magic shows happening throughout the day.

Take a stroll through the countryside and the dog rings to catch displays of amazing reptiles, working dogs, ferret racing, and birds of prey. You can even stop by the cookery tent to pick up some foodie inspiration from top chefs.

The festival music stage will be rocking all weekend with live sets from Toploader, Sweet Female Attitude, and more, while the rural craft demos and animal encounters offer a real taste of country life.

Get Ready for a Brilliant Bank Holiday at The British Country Show Kent!

Looking for the perfect way to spend the May Bank Holiday? Join us at The British Country Show Kent on Sunday 25th and Monday 26th May, from 10 AM to 5 PM, at Wings of the Morning Field, Wrotham, Sevenoaks.

This is a day out that really has it all — from Spitfire displays, wrestling, and flying stunt shows, to classic cars, live chainsaw carving, and British lawn mower racing.

Bring the whole family! Kids will love the rides, magic, puppet shows, and the dedicated games area. Animal fans can meet creatures big and small at the petting farm, see birds of prey, and check out reptile displays.

Music? Absolutely. Catch live sets from Toploader and Sweet Female Attitude on the main stage.

And yes — dogs are welcome too! There’s a full-on fun dog show for charity with agility, pedigree classes, and more.

Plus: great food, local crafts, live demos, and loads of hands-on activities.

SPITFIRE AT THE BRITISH COUNTRY SHOW KENT!

The Supermarine Spitfire was a British single-seat fighter aircraft used by the Royal Air Force and other Allied countries before, during, and after World War II. Designed by R. J. Mitchell, the Spitfire became famous for its sleek, elliptical wings, which gave it a distinctive look and excellent aerodynamic performance.

First flown in 1936, the Spitfire was built for speed and agility. It played a critical role in the Battle of Britain in 1940, helping to defend the UK. Its powerful Rolls-Royce Merlin engine and later the Griffon engine gave it incredible performance at high altitudes, and its versatility allowed it to evolve into multiple variants for different roles—fighter, reconnaissance, and even ground attack.

What set the Spitfire apart wasn't just its performance, but also how it inspired hope. For many, it symbolized British resistance and resilience in the face of overwhelming odds. Even today, the roar of a Spitfire engine is enough to stir emotions and pride.
