AHOY- We have a last minute cancellation for next week, Mon 8th-Thurs 11th September. It's enough time for just blacking, or blacking and/or a survey, or other work..

We have had a cancellation in dock tomorrow (19th June) until Sunday (22nd June). There is space for a survey and blacking, or just blacking.
Even if you can't get here until Friday give us a shout on [email protected] first come first served!

Today is crane day. If you’re thinking of moving through Bradford lock today maybe wait until lunchtime as there will be a lot of congestion. We should be done by lunchtime 😊🏴‍☠️

Not only is it Halloween tomorrow (31st October), it's also CRANE DAY at the wharf.
If you are planning to go through the lock or to the water point in BOA you might want to wait until tomorrow afternoon or there could be a wait as boat traffic will be very busy as we crane boats out of the water all morning. We should be done just after lunch.

It's that time again! We are now taking bookings for winter. We crane boats out onto our yard for three months, November to January, this can be just for storage or we can carry out extensive works, such as overplating, stretching, cabin builds etc….. email us at [email protected] if you are interested in getting your boat out this year 🏴‍☠️

We are doing a short run from Bradford-on-Avon to Avoncliff this week (due to the canal clousure at Limpy Stoke) This Wedensday 6th March.

Ahoy all ye Westenders of the Kennet & Avon canal.

Ishtar is proud to have helped many Boaters through the winter, Spring is nearly here and the wharf crew are now busy busy (back in the pit!)

We will be doing 2 more runs, one each way.

1. THIS Wed 28th Feb and Thurs 29th Feb Bradford-on-Avon lock to Foxhangers. Orders in by 8pm on Tues 27th Feb.

2. NEXT Wed 6th March. Bradford lock to Avoncliff. Orders in by 8pm Tues 5th March.

Due to a clear need in the community on the west end of the K&A, BWS & Floaty Boat are teaming up to run a coal boat between Bath & Foxhangers this winter. We will be using Ishtar (a boat built by Iolo & Ted many moons ago) and the boat will be skippered by the wonderful Chris Morgan.

*Please note that you can not contact the fuel providers yourselves asking, as it has to be done though Floaty Boat so that we can ensure that it it as fair as possible for everyone in the community. We can only cover Bath to Wotton Rivers.
