I was surveyeing in Trogir on Croatia when I saw a film set lamp. I enquired of the crew and found that they were shooting Dr Who with Matt Smith. The stills publicity photographer for the set was a client of mine. I contacted him and then spent the rest of my time on the set when they were shooting Dr Who.
It was the episode with Vincent Van Gogh and was supposed to be in Arles but the passages in Trogir were similar
The following day I took photos of the young extras posing by the Tardis for their memories
Surveying does have interesing diversions!
