🏡 Think you need a huge deposit before you can even start looking at buying a home? You might be surprised.
We speak to lots of first-time buyers who tell us:
"I’m not ready yet — I’ve only got £5,000 saved."
Or:
"I can afford the rent every month, but saving a big deposit at the same time feels impossible."
If that sounds familiar, it could be worth having a chat with us.
There are now more low-deposit mortgage options available, including mortgages for eligible buyers with:
🩷 around £5,000 saved
💚 a 2% deposit
💙 and, in some circumstances, no traditional deposit at all
That doesn’t automatically mean one of these mortgages will be right for you. A bigger deposit can give you more choice and potentially better rates, and we'll always talk you through the pros and cons.
But please don't assume you have to save £20,000, £30,000 or more before it's worth speaking to a mortgage adviser.
Message us with what you've saved and roughly what you're earning, and one of our Delta Mortgage advisers can give you an idea of where you stand.
You may be closer to buying than you think. 🏡
Mortgage availability is subject to individual circumstances, affordability, credit assessment and lender and property criteria.
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
