Amigo has announced that its Scheme of Arrangement will switch to what’s called ‘the fallback solution’.

This is an orderly wind-down of Amigo and its sister brand, RewardRate.

For those who’ve already submitted a claim into the Scheme, the reviewing of your claim isn’t going to be affected by the switch to the fallback solution.

Today is the Claims Submission Deadline, you have until midnight to make your claim.

Once this time has passed Amigo Borrowers and Guarantors will no longer be able to make a claim under the Scheme and you will not receive any cash payment or have your current balance reduced for a claim you could have submitted.

If you have already made a claim then we estimate that we will be agreeing claims in the first half of 2023. Where claims are not agreed and are referred to the Scheme Adjudicator we estimate that they will be determined in the third quarter (July-September) 2023. For any claims that are upheld, we currently anticipate making first interim payments in late 2023.

With the time left to claim on Amigo’s Scheme of Arrangement running out, we continue to encourage all past and present borrowers and guarantors to submit a claim if they believe they are owed compensation. Take a read of this blog for some more information.

Important update from Amigo - There's only 3 months left to submit your claim in the Scheme, if you have one. You can do this by going to www.amigoscheme.co.uk. The Claims Submission Deadline is 26 November 2022.

We're happy to announce that on the 23 May the High Court approved our New Business Scheme. We'd like thank all those who took their time to understand and vote on our Scheme proposals.

We'll be in touch with more information as to when and how you can submit your claim in the Scheme.

No. If you already have an outstanding complaint with us, your complaint will automatically be handled within the Scheme, if a Scheme is approved by the court. You do not need to raise another claim. We will be in contact with you to confirm the next steps.
