There will not be any changes to bin collection days that fall over the Bank Holiday period next week. All collections will be on their normal days, irrespective of the Bank Holiday.

Please put your bins out on their usual collection day by 5.30am.

Here is an update on the Government’s Council Tax Energy Rebate Scheme.

We have been processing payments for direct debit payers, and have made 16,219 payments totalling more than £2.4m. 92% of direct debit payers will have now received their payment - the only payments not made to date are those taxpayers whose council tax and bank accounts are not in the same name. If you are one of these, we will write to you shortly. If you pay by direct debit and you haven’t received a payment by the end of next week, please call 01205 314200 or email [email protected]

We will be writing shortly to those who don’t pay their council tax by direct debit asking them to provide their bank details so that we can make a direct payment.
Please note, we will not call nor email asking for personal details.
