This week, Calum hosted another fantastic Breakfast Club in Guildford, with beautiful views overlooking Guildford Castle 🏰

Joining him were Andrew Myall, Shane Chawatama and Karen Rodrigues. With everyone already knowing each other, the morning felt more like a catch-up between industry professionals than a formal networking event – exactly what Breakfast Club is all about.

Alongside great conversations in a relaxed setting, it was particularly interesting to meet Shane from Knowledge Bank and learn more about the vision they are creating for brokers and lenders. Hearing about the innovation and support being developed for the market made for some valuable discussion around where the industry is heading.

A great morning of networking, sharing ideas and strengthening relationships over breakfast.

Catch Up Friday☀️🧡

Friday is here, and it’s been another exciting week across TAB.

One of the standout moments this week was our interview with Dhuah. We’ve loved having the B&C team in the office with us, and it’s been brilliant interviewing the senior management team. Hearing more about the tech side of the business and the innovation happening behind the scenes has been especially exciting. It’s always inspiring to spend time with people who are pushing boundaries and helping drive the business forward.

We also came together this week for a full team meeting. And as we all know… Arsenal F.C. won the Premier League. That winning mentality is exactly how we want to see ourselves at TAB. We aim to be right at the very top, and that only comes with commitment, consistency, and putting in the work. It means caring for our health, getting our steps in, staying disciplined, and continuing to pour into the bigger picture. Our end goal should all be the same: pushing TAB to the top and continuing to raise the standard together.

The marketing team also attended Anticon this week.

Why? Because as a team, we never want to stick to traditional marketing methods. We’re always looking ahead, learning how to turn hours into minutes, working smarter, and embracing new ways of thinking. The event gave us valuable insight into how human creativity and digital innovation can work hand in hand to create faster, more effective results.

Another great moment from the week was Calum’s first Breakfast Club event. Calum hosted a lovely, intimate breakfast bringing people together in a relaxed setting, and it was a real reminder of the power of relationships.

A strong week all round - and plenty more to come.

One of the biggest mistakes brokers can make with bridging finance is only focusing on getting the deal over the line today.

The real question should be:
What does the exit look like?

At TAB, we always encourage brokers to work backwards. Before placing a bridging loan, think about how your client will refinance at the end of the term and what lender appetite will look like later down the line.

It is not just about raising the money now.
It is about making sure the exit is realistic, achievable and already considered from day one.

A strong exit strategy can make the whole transaction smoother for everyone involved 👏
