What an incredible amount raised 👏

Together We Raised £6,575.33!

We are absolutely delighted to share that our Ladies Lunch on 3rd July raised an incredible £6,575.33 for The Wish Centre.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, bid in the auction, and supported the event. Every pound raised will help us continue supporting women, children and families affected by domestic abuse across Lancashire.
This wonderful total was raised through ticket sales, sponsorship, silent auction fundraising activities, donations and pledges.
We are overwhelmed by the generosity, kindness and community spirit shown throughout the afternoon.

“We are truly grateful to everyone who made our Ladies Lunch such a success. Not only did we reach our fundraising target, we exceeded it - raising an incredible £6,575.33 to support our vital work. These funds will help The Wish Centre continue delivering life-changing support to people in our communities impacted by domestic abuse, including support at the point of crisis, therapeutic programmes for victims, children and young people, and counselling support. A special thank you to Haydock Finance for their generous sponsorship, to our auction prize donors, guests, volunteers, trustees and everyone who gave their time, kindness and support to make the day possible.”

A successful first day for our Haydock volunteers at Bleakholt!

Some of our amazing staff had a great volunteer day yesterday at Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary. They spent the day helping out with some much needed gardening and of course walking and meeting lots of pooches!🐶🦮🐾🌱🪴🌻

Following in the footsteps of Haydock Finance CEO, Debbie Hallam, Lizzie continues a valued and longstanding partnership with The Wish Centre, bringing passion, visibility, and advocacy to our mission.

Lizzie will also be attending her first Wish Centre event as both an Event Partner and Honorary Advocate at our upcoming Ladies Lunch, a key moment in bringing together supporters, advocates, and changemakers across Lancashire.

New Job Vacancy: Sales Support

We are looking to recruit 2 new team members to join our dedicated Sales Support to provide a positive customer journey. Working closely with colleagues in Sales, Operations and Credit, you will provide support for our Sales team throughout all stages of the financing process.

Key Responsibilities
- Support sales channels throughout the finance process
- Engage with sales team to support their action plans each year
- Work closely with our introducer network, developing positive working relationships
- Chase credit decisions, working closely with our Credit team
- Follow up acceptances and estimated close dates, and providing updates throughout the process
- Assist with onboarding of new introducers

Essential Skills & Attributes
- Strong relationship management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Confident communicator – both verbal and written
- Being comfortable to challenge the how, what and why
