A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the recent Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) workshop hosted by the Northfield Family Hub. Sometimes what looks like “bad behavior” is really a body asking for support, rest, safety, and care.

When the nervous system stays in stress mode, it can show up in ways people do not always understand.

Big feelings. Trouble focusing. Sleep struggles. Shutting down. Anger. A hard time feeling safe.

And this is not just true for children. Adults can move through this too.

It's time to get active, tomorrow is World Bicycle Day!🌄🚲🚲🚵

World Bicycle day falls on 3rd June 2026. Why not set up your outdoor area as a cycle track with a range of bikes with and without pedals and push along toys for the children to explore. Sammy skills is the perfect character to help children perfect their skills of riding a bike. Why not link it into bike week on the 9th June.
