Kings Heath BID, promoting Birmingham's best High Street West Midlands Police, Birmingham City Council) and other stakeholders (i.e.

The Kings Heath Business Improvement District (BID) is a defined geographical area within Kings Heath centre where businesses have voted to invest collectively in local improvements to enhance their trading environment. Since 2008, the Kings Heath BID has driven a vast number of improvements to Kings Heath and has seen increased shopper traffic and greater investment in the area. The Kings Heath Centre Partnership (KHCP) administers the Business Improvement District (BID): KHCP is a collaboration between businesses, residents, statutory agencies (i.e. community interest groups, voluntary groups) in Central Kings Heath. Its aim is to work to provide a cleaner, safer and greener place in which to shop, work, live, learn and invest.

La Santé have just released a spectacular series of events taking place from the 14th October all the way up to New Year's Eve.

The bistro and bar invite you to indulge in their Tour De France, a range of special events including delicious-sounding dinners, entertainment and evening activities. La Santé are also hosting their first French Réveillon celebration on December 31st!

Market day is just around the corner! 🧺

Birmingham Artisan Markets are back on York Road this Sunday 11th October, 10am-3pm, and we couldn't be happier to see the stalls going up again.

Expect the usual good stuff: handmade gifts, tasty bakes, jewellery, art and a whole lot more, all from independent makers and traders who put their heart into what they do.

Pop down for a wander, grab a bite, pick up something you didn't know you needed, and say hello to the friendly faces behind the stalls. Every purchase helps support a local business 💚

There’s a lot to celebrate at Mathnasium Kings Heath, where 89% of the students they supported through their GCSEs this year passed and 42% achieved one or two grades higher than predicted! 📈

There were some brilliant individual achievements too. One student moved from a predicted Grade 6 to an impressive Grade 8, while another pupil went from a predicted Grade 2 to a Grade 5.

The Kings Heath & Brandwood Litter Pickers have been at it again...

We love to shout about brilliant people doing brilliant things in our community. The Kings Heath & Brandwood Litter Pickers have recorded an astonishing 8,267 volunteer hours since 2021 and there's no stopping them anytime soon.

Beyond the average 131 hours volunteers dedicate each month to cleaning up our streets, they also produce an insightful, informative, and entertaining seasonal newsletter.

A Natural Undertaking is an Enjoy Kings Heath voluntary member and is a truly independent and unique Undertaker business.

On Tuesday 29th September, the team are hosting an open evening at their Kings Heath premises on Vicarage Road from 7pm to 9pm. This is a chance to see inside their mortuary, family room and meeting areas, learn about their funeral planning process, take a look at their electric hearses and understand the support and services they provide.

There will be talks from the team and time to ask any questions you would like answered.

Funeral Director and business owner Carrie, says “It’s a business that we don’t really think about until we have to. Nor do we really want to. But we want to be honest and transparent about how we can help and what it is we do. To make people feel empowered in their grief. We hope people will come and find out more. These open evenings have always been filled with laughter and are always uplifting.”

The last few years have been fully booked and everyone found the evening to be ’surprisingly’ enjoyable.

You can book a place by giving the team a call on 0121 444 0437, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. The event is free but places are limited.

Visit traders, creatives and makers at this month's Kings Heath Art Market at the Community Centre. A new month brings a fresh variety of market stalls as well as the return of familiar faces.
