We are recruiting for a Customer Service& Events Specialist to join our friendly team in Rubery. As a Customer Service & Events Specialist, you will:
👉 Plan and manage our attendance at classic vehicle shows and events including logistics, staffing and on-site coordination.
👉 Liaise with the marketing team to support event promotion activity pre- and post-event, and support in the evaluation of event performance.
👉 Arrange new policies for our customers across a number of products and brands.
👉 Deliver exceptional levels of service across a range of customer communication channels including phone and email, and resolve client queries in a professional and timely manner
👉 Process mid-term adjustments and renewal invitations.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in insurance or sales, as well as event experience, however full training will be provided.

Today Dave Youngs (Head of Classic) is attending the Morris Minor Owners Club Branch Liaison meeting to provide an update on how fabulously successful the first sixth months have been since launching Morris Minor Owners Club Insurance. The event was held at the MINI plant at Cowley, which is on the grounds of the original Morris Minor factory. It’s great to see these cars returning ‘home’.

This weekend, our CEO Jacquie Boast and her friend Nikki Daniels took part in The Champagne Scenic Rally Tour.

Organised by the scenic rally division of Scenic Car Tours, the event included 200 miles of regularity sections in the Champagne region of France.

“We had an amazing weekend! Great routes, amazing marshals that made the event go seamlessly and fantastic organisation by the Scenic Team. It was such a surprise to win an award but the fancy dress probably helped! We can’t wait for the Pommeau Rally in September.”

This Sunday is Drive it Day (or Ride it Day if you're on two wheels)!
Across the UK, historic vehicles including Pre-war tourers, 60s sports cars, classic bikes, everyday saloons that once filled British streets will take to the roads.

Organised by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs the event commemorates the Thousand Mile Trial of 1900.

This Easter weekend, whilst most of us are looking forward to putting our feet up, we’re proud to say our Head of Classic, Dave Youngs is competing in the renowned long-distance 24-hour Land’s End Trial.

The Motor Cycling Club Group Land's End Trial has been pushing riders and drivers to their limits since 1908, making it one of the world’s oldest and toughest motor events.

Originally created to prove the reliability of early vehicles, the Trial still lives up to that challenge today. Competitors set off overnight from Bridgwater in Somerset, battling long road sections, timed tests and steep, muddy “observed hills” on their way to Land’s End. Clean climbs, quick times, endurance, and no small amount of determination are what it takes to succeed.

Dave will be taking on the challenge alongside trials regular Wayne Scott. Together, they’ll be navigating the legendary ‘Wedgie Warrior’, a specially prepared 3.5-litre V8 Triumph TR7 built for exactly this kind of adventure.

It’s a proper test of skill, nerve, and machinery - just as it’s always been.
