What can happen in 10 years?

Quite a lot, as it turns out...

In 2016, Sentio began in Caroline’s conservatory with a couple of camping chairs and a table, after Richard and Caroline decided to leave their corporate careers and build something of their own.

The idea was simple: create an independent insurance broker built around experience, personal service and doing things properly.

10 years on, there’s a lot to look back on.

A well-established and growing team. Three offices. Nationally recognised specialist areas of insurance, with clients across the UK and internationally. Chartered status. And, just last week, a new Worcestershire base.

Plenty has changed.

The important bit hasn’t.

Sentio is still independent. Still laser-focused on clients. And still built around the same personal approach that started it all, with a great, like-minded team behind it.

From a conservatory in 2016 to where Sentio is today, it’s been quite a journey.

10 years down. The next chapter starts here.

Sentio is growing. We’ve moved into a bigger Worcestershire office! 🏢

Our Worcestershire office is now based at 28 High Street, Droitwich, Worcestershire, WR9 8ES.

It’s our third Worcestershire office since Sentio was founded in 2016, giving our growing team more space as the business continues to develop.

Richard Waltier, CEO, and Caroline Fairclough, COO, said:

“This new office provides a platform for us to continue to grow and support our clients across the UK. We are excited about the future as we enter a new chapter after a very successful 10 years.”

And this is just one part of an exciting period for Sentio, following the launch of our new East Midlands office in Hinckley earlier this month, with our 10-year milestone coming up in October.

A bigger office. A growing team. And plenty more to come.

Sentio East Midlands is here! 🎉

Today marks an exciting new chapter for Sentio Insurance Brokers as we officially launch our new East Midlands office in Hinckley, Leicestershire.

And at the heart of it is Emily Long Cert CII, Associate Director, who will be leading our presence in the region.

With 27 years in insurance and deep roots in the Hinckley area, Emily brings a huge amount of experience, knowledge and local understanding to the role.

As Emily puts it:
“Insurance has been a huge part of my life and career... you could say insurance is in my blood.”

We couldn't put it better ourselves!

This expansion means we can build even closer relationships with businesses across Leicestershire, Warwickshire and the wider East Midlands, while continuing to deliver the personal service and independent advice that Sentio is known for.

A huge congratulations to Emily on this exciting new chapter! 👏

From the first step at Ben Nevis to completing all three peaks in under 24 hours… what an achievement 👏⛰️

A huge well done to Billy, Chris, Jade, Richard, Richard and Alastair for taking on the and smashing it.

Plenty of miles, very little sleep, and memories that’ll last a long time.

Today, a few of the Sentio team, Billy, Chris, Jade, Richard, Richard, and Alastair, are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge!

They’re about to set off, with Ben Nevis first up.

On Friday, we had a great evening at a charity pub quiz in support of Birmingham Dogs Home🐾

We were proud to sponsor the event, and as a team of dog lovers, it’s a cause close to home for us. It was brilliant to see the local community come together at The Castle Droitwich, with a big thank you to Chloe for organising such a great night.

Together, £530 was raised 👏

Quiz-wise… we came a respectable 4th place. Raffle-wise… slightly less respectable, we somehow managed to win most of the prizes (awkward 😅).

Chloe’s not stopping there either, she’s taking on a 13,000ft skydive in a couple of weeks to raise even more. Best of luck, Chloe… we’ll be cheering you on from the ground!
