Happy New Year!

As 2023 comes to a close and we look forward to 2024, I’m wrapping up the year with a rundown of my favourite images of 2023.

My proudest moment of last year, and number 1 in my rundown, is the prestigious recognition of CrowdProperty being featured in The Times and The Sunday Times 100 list of Britain's fastest-growing private companies.

The prestigious list takes on the baton from The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 series, which celebrated the country's leading entrepreneurs for 24 years (which I used to read avidly at University). The list is highly regarded for tough qualifying criteria, including the requirement for those selected to show profitable growth. The 2023 ST100 list is supported by Barclays Private Bank, DHL and Inflexion.

We were also recognised in the Financial Times FT1000 list of fastest growing businesses in Europe for the third consecutive year.

I couldn’t be more proud of our brilliant CrowdProperty team for this latest high profile recognition of all the hard work and passion that goes into disrupting the property development finance sector.

As we draw 2023 to a close and look forward to 2024, I’m wrapping up the year with a rundown of my favourite images of 2023.

In at Number 2 is CrowdProperty surpassing the £800m of residential property development projects funded milestone.

We also extended the scope of projects we back, funding our largest residential development project in 2023 – a £9.25m facility towards a £15.6m GDV development of 137 flats in Bradford – whilst continuing to back many smaller refurb and conversion projects.

Now at £820m, we’ve funded the development of over 3,500 UK homes on our mission of transforming property finance to unlock the potential of small and medium sized property developers in building more, much needed, under-supplied homes, helping them to grow their businesses quicker and driving spend in the economy on labour, materials and services.
