Our client recently purchased a one-bed Holiday Let in the UK. They funded the purchase and light refurb using cash from their SSAS pension scheme (via a GDCV).
After mortgage and other landlord costs, they were able to pay the total cash used from their SSAS back into the scheme within 5 years.
Buying a Holiday Let through a SSAS scheme provides a substantial amount of tax savings (including no Income or Corporation Tax on the rental income, no Capital Gains Tax and no Inheritance Tax).
