Went to the Leeds v Newcastle game last night and honestly… what a game. The atmosphere was unreal, the football was chaos in the best way, and I still can’t believe how lucky I was to get tickets.

Best part? I even managed to find my dad’s stone outside the ground. A proper little moment in the middle of all the noise — made the night feel even more special.

What a week it’s been — one of those full‑on, head‑spinning ones where you barely come up for air. A mix of challenges, long days, and plenty of juggling… but we got through it.

And today it ended on the most fabulous note. This lovely review landed and honestly, it was the perfect reminder of why I do what I do.

🌟 Client win of the week… and it’s a big one! 🌟
I’ve just had the loveliest message from a friend (and client) and honestly… I nearly spat my brew out.

"Katie hannam- I know you’re not her anymore - you are a miracle!! So…we got a payback from child benefit before our hols of……£3500!!!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😘😘😘"

Earlier this year, while reviewing their mortgage, I noticed they weren’t claiming Child Benefit — even though they were entitled to it. So I gave them the classic Katie nudge: “Get it claimed… now!”

Fast forward to today and they’ve just had a £3,500 Child Benefit payback land in their bank.
£3,500.
Right before their holiday.
I mean… come on. That’s unreal.

And it’s funny, because I hear the same thing all the time:

“I won’t get a mortgage.”
“I’m not entitled to anything.”
“I’ll never qualify.”

My response — every single time — is basically:
