I set myself what I thought was an optimistic 5 year personal goal when I left the corporate world, and to pat myself on the back, I am so proud to have met those business levels in just 3 years.

What a way to start 2024!

I have just found out that I was in the top 3 advisors for written business in the region for Primis and also hit a personal best just shy of £6.5 million for a month!

Bank of England holds base rate again for the 3rd consecutive time. Considering the string of increases prior, we’ll take it!

We have seen many lenders showing signs of confidence in the markets with rates coming down over the last few of weeks! These last few years have been a rollercoaster, hopefully we are seeing signs of the end of the ride!

We set Bank Rate to influence other interest rates. We use our influence to keep inflation low and stable.

A 0% deposit mortgage for first time borrowers has just been announced.

If you are a renter, the mortgage is less than your rent, and it meets affordability criteria, this could be the perfect chance to get on the ladder!

In line with every other vote this year the Bank of England has voted to increase the base rate. This is the second consecutive rise of +0.5% (the highest consecutive increase since Feb 1995)

Absolutely estatic after managing to get a client an offer through an appeal and escalation with a lender!!!

Property had been declined with several lenders due to valuation when there was absolutely nothing wrong with it!

Appealed with queries to the valuer who couldn’t answer our questions, escalated and managed to get another survey. Offered 24 hours after the survey.

Absolute class act from Natwest! Top tier service using common sense and actually listening when we have an issue!

The base rate has risen again, for the 4th time since December to 1%. This is the highest it has been since early 2009.

The bbc had an interesting remark regarding forecasts of even further increases into 2023. Naturally, this is speculative; however if you want to protect yourself against any further increases it may be time to look into remortgage options.

The Bank of England base rate has risen for the 3rd time since 16th December from 0.5% to 0.75%

***but its not all doom and gloom***

This marks a reset to the interest levels prior to the emergency rates brought in by Covid. It also means it may be time to secure rates if you want protection from any potential further increases.
