Welcome to Tuesday! Good morning All. It's still black as night outside so have no idea what sort of day we are in for! 5 Pentacles yesterday .. you would have been proud of me! Kitchen cupboards were under scrutiny! What a clear out of my basic foods cupboards! Pickle that went out of date in 2022 - plus others .. half used sauces .. aging pasta!! All gone! Surfaces cleaned. How good is that!! Today, I'm aiming at the 'mug' cupboard - just how many does any house need? .. and the freezer! Spring cleaning in the wrong season!

Our card for today has a totally different vibe! It's the King of Wands. This character is a sage .. master of his craft .. wise enough to be a mentor. You may have questions about how best to complete your mission currently being attempted and it could well be that you need to seek out this character in order to get advice or guidance as to how best to progress at a better rate of knots! However, it may be that you are that knowledgeable person, with many of the answers, to whom others may come and seek guidance. Could go either way today!

If you need me today you'll find me buried in the kitchen .. up to my neck in mugs and sprouts!! Wonder what gems may be found out of sight? Won't be money, that's a certain fact! Hope you too can have a productive day probably imparting your knowledge to someone else. Enjoy!

All the 5's from the new deck ...

Good morning and welcome to Monday! Hope you had a good weekend. Mine was quite quiet apart from mundane tasks - washing, ironing, etc., - but I did make a few small changes in my study. I've resurrected the desk mat I designed for use at fayres and changed my deck of cards to a miniature one for daily use in the office. A change is as good as a rest, so they say!

Here I am again, before 4:30 am, dealing with our card of the day! Why does sleep have to be so difficult these days? Appropriately enough, it's the 5 of Pentacles. This card tells us of small changes .. and perhaps challenges .. which may have to be considered or made today, in respect of our material world .. job, home, finances. Well, I've made mine, as you can see! You may be doing something comparable .. doesn't need to be anything massive .. move the furniture .. make minor changes in your budget .. have a clear up at work!

Two of my friends are very much 'under the weather' so plans for the week have had to be re-arranged .. 5 Pentacles again!! Hopefully they will be back in the swing of things soon. Let's hope your day doesn't present too many minor challenges! Hope you have a good one!

Whilst I wait for my eyes to co-operate and become 'driving fit', I've been sitting on the deck asking quite a profound question this morning! "Where is my life going?" The results hold no surprises!! The first 3 cards were 10 Pentacles, 8 Swords and 4 Wands. Cards 1 and 3 I can immediately relate to, but there was a query over card 2 - 8 Swords. Best I enlarge on that one .. and the cards added are Ace Swords, Ace Cups and Death. Now I see the picture!!

The 10 Pentacles and 4 Wands tell me that I am where I am .. settled, stable and nothing much is going to change! I am not going to become a millionaire through tarot readings .. or anything else for that matter! My financial and home life are complete and fixed where they are. Suspect I won't be moving house either! As it appears to me the 8 Swords is not being in a mental battle with myself .. it appears to be none-stop! The growth of a very over-active mind which is forever problem solving and creating something or other in a world that I love .. transformation and growth continue - which is great at my age knowing that my mind will remain sharp, active and capable!

I can live with that!! .. but I still can't see well enough to drive!!

Hello Friday. Welcome to this morning of soggy cats and truly miserable view out of the window! Can't complain! We need the rain!

This morning's card is 5 Swords. "Swallow your pride ..." came to mind! As swords relate to your logical self .. thoughts .. communication .. and 5's relate to changes .. then this card implies that you could well be changing your mind about an issue today. Has someone persuaded you to see something from a different point of view? Have you realised that you may have been wrong on a certain issue? We can't always be right! Difficult concept, I know! If necessary, swallow your pride and admit you were wrong. It may not be quite like that .. it could be that the "penny has dropped" and you can see the matter from a different perspective. As a minor card this 'event' will not be life changing .. just a realisation that there are always alternatives out there in day to day life!

Bin men are here .. noisy *******s! Can't see me venturing far today - looks like a day to batten down the hatches and stay in the dry! Let's hope the weekend will be better. Enjoy yourselves.
