Well , back home again, fab. It was good to meet with Mick Burns, Ian Willerby, Sarah Mitchell and Grev Bray and do carving demonstrations with them again. Thanks, to everyone who bought all the things that I had carved for the show and for the speed carved pieces from the demo's. The last demo, I was told I had to carve a bear because my fab Mel had already sold it, no pressure there.😂😂 I really have enjoyed carving again. Have a great weekend everyone. John

Hi Everyone. This is a blast from the past. I was asked by Mick Burns, chainsaw carver extraordinaire , if I would join him and four other carvers to do the Lincolnshire Show. He talked me into it, also offered me the chance to carve some items at his yard.
I have to say that whoever organises the Countryside area at the Show must be a real townie. It is dead.
Having said that, we still had a good time today. Hope tomorrow is even better. We do two carving demonstrations a day and tomorrow they will be 10am and 3.30pm.

Hi everyone. Since I have retired from carving, I got a bit bored. So we have moved house and now live in Cottingham. We are going to be renovating the place and started with the garden at the back. We have been here for 6 weeks but 2 weeks ago I tried cutting my foot of with the A frame of our trailer, it was loaded with broken concrete and slipped off the tow bar onto my heal. So have had to rest it🙄😞😞 take care everyone.

Hi Everyone. It's been a long time since I last put something on my page. I took my Mel to Bridlington Birds of Prey and Animal Park this morning for her birthday and had booked the Meerkat and Porcupine experience. I would recommend it to anyone, as I am 😁, it was incredible. Just a word of warning don't wear anything white, the meerkats have mucky paws😂😂. I will put more on in few days letting you know what we have be up to. 🤔Take care everyone and stay healthy.
