Over the last 12 months, the business has changed in so many ways, all with a view to looking forward to the future of Lairgate Financial.

Our client propostion has been revamped, making efficiencies and introducing new systems, software and processes for an all round better client experience.

We have celebrated our 10th anniversary, moved to a new office premises which we have settled into very nicely and our clients have been very complimentary about our new surroundings.

The final piece of the jigsaw is our new and improved company branding and website which we are pleased to announce has gone live today.

We would like to thank Superfly Marketing and their staff for the hard work and creativeness in making this happen.

You may have seen more headlines than usual recently around market movements and global events.

The ongoing situation with the Iran conflict and our change of Prime Minister are just some of the developments which have led to increased uncertainty, particularly around energy costs, which has naturally filtered through into wider financial markets.

Periods like this can feel uncomfortable, and we’ve certainly seen more than our fair share over recent years, but they’re not unusual when viewed over the longer term.

One of the most important things we remind clients of during times like this is to avoid making knee-jerk decisions.

Good financial planning is built around long-term goals, not short-term headlines. Trying not to panic and staying anchored to that plan is usually the most valuable thing you can do.

To mark an exciting new chapter for Lairgate Financial, we've given our brand a fresh new look, complete with a new logo and a new strapline: Doing Right By You.

As we celebrate 10 years in business, settle into our beautiful new home at The Hall and look ahead to the future, it felt like the perfect time to give the business a bit of a birthday makeover.

But while our branding has evolved, the values behind it haven’t changed one bit. In fact, they’ve only grown stronger.

When Lairgate Financial was founded, the aim was simple: to build a business where people came first. A place where clients could expect honest conversations, straightforward advice and someone who would always take the time to explain things in plain English.

No unnecessary jargon, no pressure - just advice that’s right for you and your circumstances.

Over the past 10 years, it’s been a privilege to help so many people through life’s biggest financial decisions - from planning for retirement and growing families to navigating unexpected challenges and everything in between.

Some things go beyond business - and this is one of them.

Paul Spence is someone we’ve known for many years and are proud to call a great friend of Lairgate Financial.

That’s why we’re honoured to support his charity
P • A • U • L For Brain Recovery, which, like us, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. 👏

Over the past decade, the charity has provided vital support to many people affected by brain injuries caused by everything from stroke to tumours, aneurysms, accidents and meningitis.

Our MD Wayne Audsley recently ran the Beverley 10k in aid of the charity - no small feat given the lack of training beforehand (!)🏃‍♂️

Worth it though, given his effort went towards the thousands raised annually to enable the work of an organisation we couldn’t think more highly of.

We’ll be sharing more soon about this partnership with a good cause we’re immensely proud to be involved with.

This year marks a very special milestone for all of us at Lairgate Financial as we celebrate our 10th anniversary.

When the business was founded a decade ago, the vision was simple: to create a financial planning firm built around people. A business where relationships matter, where advice is personal, and where clients are treated as individuals rather than account numbers.

A decade on, while the business has grown and evolved, those values remain exactly the same. 🤝

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of helping people through some of life’s biggest moments.

We're delighted to be settling into a space that feels like a natural fit for the way we work.

👀 Who lives in a house like this?

Well... soon, we will!

We're delighted to share that we've officially collected the keys to our new home at The Hall on Lairgate in Beverley. 🔑

Over the coming weeks, we'll be busy putting our own stamp on this beautiful building and getting everything ready to welcome clients into a comfortable new environment that reflects the way we like to work – professional, personal and relaxed.

The setting couldn't be more fitting.

Surrounded by beautiful grounds and just a short walk from our current office, it's a space where we can sit down with clients, talk through their hopes, ambitions and plans for the future, and explore the role thoughtful financial planning can play in helping them get there.

We're incredibly proud to be staying in Beverley, a town that has been such an important part of our story, while taking this exciting next step for the business.
