CD Fairfield was formed by a multidisciplinary team of Insolvency, Finance, Property and Banking professionals who came together to seek innovative, ethical, client centred solutions to Northern Irelands property crisis following the 2008 banking crisis. Due to the extreme nature of the house price crash in Northern Ireland the traditional methods of dealing with property debt became insufficient
to deal with the problem at hand, thus causing real hardship for many families, who had been let down when property prices halved over an 18-month period. This created previously unseen levels of negative equity and property debt and coincided with reductions in household income, making many mortgages unaffordable. The team at CD Fairfield created an ethical, client friendly process of non-statutory insolvency that, due to our transparency and professionalism, major UK banks quickly found it beneficial to engage with. This, coupled with our ability to deliver statutory insolvency, refinancing, and restructuring solutions all under one roof, sets us apart as a clear and innovative market leader. We have created tailored solutions that fit the different needs of our clients, rather than making our clients fit our solution, which is often the case. We are currently the only fully authorised and regulated company of our type operating in the UK.
