Solicitor appreciation post ⭐️

We have received some lovely messages from clients recently regarding the solicitors we have recommended to them and we thought we share this one we were cc’d into.

We’ve worked with lots of different solicitors over the years but when you find ladies like Jessica & Sasha who are responsive, efficient, communicative and as polite as these two, you realise just how important they are to helping our clients buy their properties with as little stress as possible.

No solicitor can remove the stress entirely, but they can certainly add to them with slow response times and not proactively tackling problems head on.

These women are a credit to their profession and our clients clearly appreciate their efforts too!

There are a number of reasons to use a broker above going direct to a bank but in a market that changes as frequently as it does, having a broker keep an eye out for rate reductions for you, is one of the best. Banks simply don’t do this for you.⁠

At Hobbs House Mortgages is do regular checks post offer to make sure you are made aware of market improvements that you can benefit from. ⁠

Another reason is simply being able to access rates with other lenders, by going direct to a bank, they will only be able to discuss products offered by them. Speaking to a ‘whole of market’ broker is key. ⁠
⁠
A broker will also assess your situation and identify a lender that will accept your mortgage application, whereas a bank could inform you that you don’t fit their lending policy and therefore don’t qualify for a mortgage. Every lender has a different policy and therefore although your bank might not give you a mortgage, the chances are another lender will. This could be the difference to you getting the property you want, or not!⁠
