The cattle are carefully raised and nurtured on Gorse Bank Farm, a 750-acre estate, 1,000 feet above sea level in the heart of the Peak District, with its sloping farmland surrounding the picturesque village of Baslow, buffered by moorland and a plethora of wildflowers and heather. The farm sits on gritstone, good for water irrigation and pasture. The cattle spend their winters in spacious large barns and the rest of the year feeding off the luscious grass pastures.
