Strong partnerships create strong opportunities 🤝

Rosemount is proud to continue its longstanding partnership with Cardiff Business School, having welcomed two new economics students, George Taylor and Emma Kerr, for year-long industry placements.

Over the years, the collaboration between Rosemount and Cardiff University has helped provide students with valuable real-world experience across financial services, giving them insight into areas including paraplanning, compliance and adviser communications, while also supporting the development of future industry talent.

Cathy Williams, Undergraduate Placements Officer at Cardiff Business School, highlighted the positive impact these placements have had on students, from gaining responsibility early on to truly feeling part of the team.

Partnerships between education and industry are vital in helping the next generation build the skills, confidence and experience needed for successful careers in financial advice, and we’re delighted to see this collaboration continue to grow.

Our consultant clinical psychologist, Dr Dawn Thomas-Bawa, has written a new article in The Intermediary exploring why improving adviser mental health is in everyone’s interest.

We’re also proud to be working with Six Mental Health Addiction to give our network members and staff access to mental health support services, including therapist-led helplines and counselling.
