This marks the 13th consecutive increase since December 2021, demonstrating the central bank’s aggressive stance in curbing soaring inflation.

Are you looking to take the next step in your administrative career or are you an experienced administrator looking for a change.

We are looking to appoint a FULL-TIME Mortgage Administrator.

The role includes, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed with a high degree of accuracy. Routine liaison with lenders, insurance companies and clients alike, ensuring that the Mortgage or Insurance policies are case managed through to completion. You will be working closely with the Mortgage and Protection Advisers on a daily basis.

Previous experience is not essential as training will be given to the right candidate.

Qualifications:
No formal qualifications required.

Personal Skills:
A tenacious and professional attitude is required.
You will also need to be a team player who is confident in communicating on the phone and face to face with clients, lenders, providers and advisers all over the UK.

IT Skills:
Good IT Skills and Knowledge of Microsoft

Salary & Hours
Starting Salary - £21,000 per annum
Hours – 35 per week – Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Holidays – 28 days per year

The Bank of England has raised interest rates today for the 10th time in a row, upping the base rate by 0.5% to 4%.

The increase see rates hit the highest level seen since autumn 2008 as the central bank battles to bring down inflation.

With consumer price inflation having eased slightly in November, down to 10.7% from 11.1% in October, there had been speculation that a rise could have been smaller.

However, the Monetary Policy Committee voted 7 to 2 for the 0.5% rise. The BoE has an inflation target of 2%.

Later today the European Central Bank is expected to increase rates across the EU by 0.5% while the US Federal Reserve lifted its rates by 0.25% last night.
