Scouting in the United Kingdom is organised at National, County, District and Group levels. Our County is Northumberland, Which includes Newcastle and North Tyneside; our district is Wansbeck, which has nine groups, and our Group is Reiverdale, which offers all three Group level sections; Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. Charging and funding arrangements
We follow the same basic term pattern as most local schools, Summer Autumn and Spring; this coincides with the Groups financial year. We use the Inland Revenue’s Gift Aid system, which allows charities to reclaim 25% for all donations and subscriptions made by UK tax payers. This is a terrific way of making the most of your money. It won’t cost you a penny, and provides a real boost to our funds. All we need you to do is to read and complete one form. We`ll do the rest. The full cost of membership in 20/21 is £156.00.This can be paid as one lump sum; £52 at the beginning of each term; or £4.00 weekly. We encourage parents to pay at start of each term, saving time and paperwork. Member information
