Great news!
Bank of England cuts interest rate to lowest level in nearly three years!
The Bank of England has cut the base rate to 3.75%, taking it below 4% for the first time since January 2023.

After the weekend when lenders should have dropped their rates I will review existing rates and let you know.

Base rate reduced by 0.25% to 4%!

I have had this a lot recently, my clients are coming to me for a decision in principle and then when they offer on a property the estate agents are saying (if you use our mortgage broker and conveyancing you are more likely to have an offer accepted) this is not true! It is not what’s best for the vendor either! It’s for their own financial benefit. A self employed mortgage broker is genuinely working for you, we get paid when you get the keys, estate agents get a salary and their commission is made up of conveyancing and mortgage advisor leads. A self employed broker is genuinely working for you and will always do what is best for the client.
