‼️ Mortgage Rates & Concerns ‼️

There is a lot of concern, fear and some misinformation about what is happening in the UK mortgage market right now, what's going on with the Bank Of England interest rates and what is going to happen going forward. To help, please see below a few points that may apply to you:

▪️ All current mortgage offers, and any applications submitted, are safe - you have your rate 'booked' and this will not change.

▪️ If you are in a Fixed Rate - you are shielded, for now. If you don't know when the fixed rate period ends, contact us or your lender for some peace of mind.

▪️ Lenders HAVE NOT stopped lending - they either pause or minimise the release of mortgage products as they don't know how to price their products due to the uncertainty of interest rates i.e. HSBC pulled rates yesterday but have released new rates today.

▪️ How high will interest rates go? At this time, no one actually knows. Do expect interest rates to increase further.

▪️ We can look at Remortgage Options up to 6 months in advance of a mortgage deal expiring so if you are within this window, give us a call to discuss options.

▪️ If you have noticed your mortgage payments increasing over the last 6-9 months, give us a call and we can look to see if there are options to hopefully stop this from happening.

And lastly, give us a call if you want to discuss any concerns. With the cost of everything increasing, it can be hard to deal with it all so give us a call if you need to discuss your mortgage or finances.

If it's too good to be true....

Over the last few weeks, I've had a number of people ask me about investing in CashFX and how friends/family have invested and their account balances are increasing and 'moving up levels'....whatever the hell that means 🤯

Here's the key points to consider with any investment - the complete opposite of what CashFX offer by the way:

Is it regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)? Your savings in a bank account are protected up to £85,000 if that bank goes bust - I bet CashFX don't offer that. There'd be some crying done if you lost money from your bank going under so why take the risk with no protection with CashFX

What investment moves up levels???? Have you ever heard of a pension move up to Level 7 and you now have unlocked new bonuses??? It's not a computer game! 🎮

Investments take time. They will go up and down. Its the nature of the game. CashFX seems to work by using money of new subscribers to increase the funds of current members - this is known as a Ponzi Scheme. The returns are fake - it's other people's money adding to your returns until of course this runs dry or you want to cash-in!

CashFX are based in Panama - tax haven and unregulated. Alarm bells people ⏰️🚨

And lastly, advice...who is giving you the advice? It takes years of experience, qualifications and continued development and product knowledge to give investment advice. So if Karen down the road has fired £500 into CashFX, why in the name of all thats holy would you follow suit 🤔

As I said, if it's too good to be true....
