Hi Corin,
You won’t remember me, but I just wanted to reach out and say thank you.
You were the mortgage advisor at your move when I bought my first flat. I was 25, didn’t smoke and rarely drank. In the gym several days a week and ate healthy etc. I didn’t believe that I needed mortgage protection insurance, but you persuaded me to get it.
When I was 29, I was diagnosed with motor neurone disease - a terminal muscle wasting illness. It’s not genetic and they have no idea what causes it.
Thanks to the mortgage protection insurance my mortgage was completely paid off and I have been able to move to a property which is more suitable for a wheelchair.
If you are still in the mortgage game, feel free to use my story to convince people of the importance of mortgage protection insurance. I’m eternally grateful.
