Moyola & Toome Credit Union Limited is currently recruiting for a Part-Time Cashier
Hours: Minimum 13 hours (1.5 days) per week, including Thursday and 1/2 day each Saturday
Salary: £13.35 per hour
Locations: Newbridge, Toome and Castledawson
Role:
The role includes but is not limited to the following:
- Dealing with members regarding lodgements, withdrawals, loans, membership queries, opening and closing accounts etc.
- Cashing up and balancing at the end of each day.
- Foreign exchange.
- Issuing documentation and items of general information to members and non-members as directed.
- Dealing with members queries in-person, on the phone and online.
- Promoting products and services to members.
- Updating of IT systems, member records, keeping notes etc.
- Back office and administrative support.
- Scanning/filing
- Preparation of reports as required.
Reports to Assistant Manager.
Essential Criteria:
- 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) grade C and above including Maths and English.
- 1 year’s minimum customer service experience.
- Good Computer and IT skills.
Desirable Criteria:
- 1 year’s cash handling experience.
- Experience working in a frontline role within a Credit Union or financial services institution.
- Administrative and organisational skills.
Skill:
- Making decisions and taking responsibility.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work within a busy customer service environment.
- Multitasking
- Use of discretion and sensitivity when dealing with members.
