Job Vacancy - Accounts Assistant

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparation of accounts for small to medium sized businesses.
**Duties:**
- Preparation of VAT Returns and Submission to HMRC.
- Preparation of Payroll for Clients with both Weekly and Monthly employees.
- Perform data entry to update and maintain financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements to Trial Balance.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for financial tasks.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
**Experience:**
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred and ideally qualified to AAT Level 3.
- Proficiency in accounting software like Sage Line 50 and Xero.
- Familiarity with accounts.
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £21,710.00-£22,739.00 per year

Meet our longest serving Independent Financial Adviser, Tim Heggett.

Tim advises on all financial planning matters, including Pensions and Investments.

He has worked as a Financial Adviser for over 18 years, and been with Horbury Financial Services Limited since January 2013. Tim has built strong and long standing relationships with his clients, who appreciate his ability to explain often complex issues in an easy to understand and digestible format. He believes in taking time with clients and has a very methodical approach to providing financial advice.

Away from work, Tim enjoys spending time with his family, fine dining, and going for long walks in the countryside with his Golden Retriever.
