Sometimes small changes make a big difference.

In this flat there was very limited storage space so we decided to build a small cupboard-perfect for a hoover, cleaning products and everyday essentials. Good property refurbishment is about spotting small opportunities and turning them into practical improvements that make a space work better. 💫

Why proper inspections matter?

On one of our recent flat inspections we uncovered something we see far too often…
Windows fitted - but:

• no proper expanding foam
• gaps around the reveals
• cold bridging
• poor sealing

That’s exactly why we always open up the ingoes and check what’s actually going on behind the finish.

From experience this is often where your money is literally escaping. If you’re wondering why your heating bills are high but the room still feels cold - this could be one of the main reasons.

Poorly sealed windows lead to:

• heat loss
• higher energy bills
• condensation & damp issues
• reduced overall energy efficiency

Energy performance isn’t just about new radiators or thick insulation that’s why we don’t assume - we inspect.

From tired and dated to fresh, calm and inviting. This one was a full strip out right back to basics:
•fresh plasterboards and paint
•additional insulation installed
•new ceiling with downlights
•new window finish
•new flooring.
All the new final detailing to bring it together.

It's amazing how a dark, worn-out space can be completely transformed with the right approach. From demolition to high-spec finish. 🔥
