Little Cross House has held a special place in Elgin’s story, and in ours.

Since 1972, Hanson & Robertson H&R Insurance Services has called Elgin its home, and I was proud to call this beautiful sandstone landmark our base, serving neighbours, families, and local businesses with trusted insurance advice through every storm and every sunny day. Now, as the next chapter unfolds, the insurance door at Little Cross House has gently closed, not in farewell, but in transformation. A new owner, full of vision and respect for its heritage, is bringing this beautiful building back to life.

Little Cross House will rise again under a new owner, fully restored, renewed, and cherished and for H&R Insurance Services, our story proudly continues.

We were delighted to be involved in the JJR Macleod Memorial Statue Society unveiling on Thursday at Duthie Park to honour JJR Macleod. Next time you visit Duthie Park make sue you visit the new memorial, and see if you can spot the H&R Insurance paver.

WATCH OUT - these companies are pretending to be us to try and capture your claim details and win new business. THIS IS NOT OUR OFFICIAL WEBSITE. This company is paying to appear at the top of Google when you search for h&r insurance.

This has been reported but we have no idea how long this will be displayed. We called the company to confront them, but surprise surprise they kept hanging up, we also couldn't find ANY information about who is actually behind this fake company.

What to do on a school strike day....... let the kids come to work of course!

We welcomed a busy wee girl into the office this week, who helped with some very key office tasks such as emptying the dishwasher, sorting and franking the post, counting up the petty cash and posting all the letters into a gold postbox. She even got presented with a wee pay slip at the end of the day and was treated to a trip to Forest Farm Dairy for an after work ice cream. 🥰

We wish all our clients a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year and thank you all once again for all your support in our 50th year of business.

We will be closing early on Friday 23rd December and will reopen our phone lines only from Wednesday 28th December to Friday 30th December. Please note the office will not be open on these dates as all the team are all working from home.

Normal hours resume on Wednesday 4th January 2023.

We are closing our office today (Thursday 1st Sep) at 4pm and won't reopen until Monday 5th September. We're all having a long weekend to celebrate our 50th anniversary.
