Job Overview
As a Mortgage Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting our mortgage advisers and ensuring a smooth and efficient mortgage application process for our clients. You’ll be responsible for managing documentation, liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors, and supporting the administrative needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Process mortgage and protection applications from submission through to completion
• Liaise with clients, lenders, solicitors, and surveyors to progress applications efficiently
• Maintain accurate client records and update our CRM system
• Manage email and telephone enquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Request and review documentation from clients (e.g., ID, bank statements, payslips)
• Chase outstanding documents or requirements from third parties
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal processes
• Provide general administrative support to mortgage advisers
Key Requirements
• Previous experience in a mortgage administration or financial services role is desirable
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritise effectively
• Understanding of mortgage processes and compliance (preferred)
• A positive, can-do attitude and team spirit
