We are seeking a Junior Software Developer-Beirut office.

Job Description/Responsibilities

-Develop and test new applications using company technologies.

-Support and maintain existing applications at HedgeGuard.

-Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

-Knowledge of HTTP concepts.

-In the case of production issues, a high commitment is expected from the employee to resolve bugs or assist the team.

-Assist and participate in documentation and tests.

-Prepare reports, manuals, and documentation for user requirements or existing tools.

-Adhere to high-quality development principles and guidelines.

-Provide second-level support to business users.

Skills

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

-General understanding of relational databases (preferably Postgres, SQL).

-Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with various levels of management.

-Ability to work in groups.

-Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

-Experience working within an Agile software development team and an understanding of Agile concepts.

-Experience with Source Control tools.

-Experience with JavaScript and .Net Core.

-Knowledge in Typescript and Angular 6+ is a plus.

When becomes mainstream! After PayPal's announcement authorizing Bitcoin and crypto spending via a PayPal account, it's now Coinbase's turn to launch its crypto debit card in the United States with a spending reward: 1% in or 4% in lumens.

Crypto exchange Coinbase is launching its Visa debit card in the U.S. next year, which is currently available in the U.K. and EU.

PayPal allows Bitcoin and crypto spending

PayPal has entered the cryptocurrency market, announcing that its customers will be able to buy and sell Bitcoin and other virtual currencies using their PayPal accounts.
Those virtual coins could then be used to buy things from the 26 million sellers which accept PayPal, it said.
PayPal plans to roll out buying options in the US over the next few weeks, with the full rollout due early next year.
Bitcoin prices rose alongside the news, breaking the $12,000 (£9,170) mark.
The other cryptocurrencies to be added first will be Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash (a spin-off from Bitcoin).
All could be stored "directly within the PayPal digital wallet", the company said
