The Role:
Title: Investment Analyst
Duration: 5 to 6 months - Full-time. Starting January 2020.
Place of work: Paris
You will be an integral member of C4 Ventures Investment Team. You will be closely associated with all investment opportunities and companies in the portfolio.
We expect the analysts to contribute to the conversations about future investments and the current portfolio and to have opinions about the different investment themes.
Over the course of your internship, you’ll meet many start-ups and entrepreneurs. Through these meetings and your research, you’ll build a strong knowledge of the markets we focus on.
Your main responsibilities will include:
New investment opportunities:
- Filter all incoming investment opportunities
- Join meetings with entrepreneurs
- Perform market research and competitive analysis�
- Participate in all aspects of due diligence including customer and management references, market sizing etc.
Portfolio:
- Assist the Team with providing key strategic solutions to portfolio companies concerning subjects including financial forecasting, product testing, market study and competition analysis.
General:
- Do in-depth research on specific subjects to refine investment strategy and to be presented to the investment team regularly
- Contribute to/write blog or article
- Contribute to C4 Ventures presence on Social Medias.
- Help prepare press interviews and meetings for Partners
The ideal candidate:
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn with an entrepreneurial attitude
- Passionate about Innovation and the Start-Up world in general
- Degree from top-ranking Universities�
- Working towards a Master’s degree or looking for work experience/internship as a gap year or mandatory internship.
- Excellent English writing skills
- Conversational French required
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills�
- Pro-active and able to come up with creative solutions
- Meticulous attention to detail and a good sense of humour ;-)
