The latest practical guidance for international and domestic travel.
As travel disruption develops with COVID-19, we are here to keep you apprised of the latest restrictions between the US and Europe so that you can plan accordingly.
DOMESTIC:
Please note, at present, there are no restrictions in place for domestic US travel when utilizing private aircraft.
INTERNATIONAL:
Travel between the US and UK is currently not restricted, providing that no passenger traveling has passed through a Schengen country in the 14-days prior to entry into the US. The list of Schengen countries are: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. Schengen does not include Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland.
All US citizens are permitted to return to the US from any Schengen country except for Italy.
The restrictions begin at 11:59 p.m. Friday, Eastern time. By midnight Friday, the new restrictions will be in full force.
Not all foreign travelers will be subject to the travel restrictions. The spouses, parents or siblings of American citizens or permanent residents, will be exempt, as will members of the US military and their spouses and children.
As always, passenger safety is paramount at Privé International. We only work with operators that meet our stringent safety and security requirements. Additional COVID-19 precautionary measures are also in place including a passenger health questionnaire required 24-hours prior to international travel departure. Privé is also working closely with all operating partners to ensure deep cleaning of aircraft, along with ensuring even stricter hygiene precautions are followed by all passengers and crew.
While the chartering of private jets is proving once again to be a critical and efficient service in a time of need, please note that no matter what mode of transport you choose to reach a country, you are subject to the immigration laws of that country upon arrival. Your personal lifestyle manager can advise on your eligibility to fly a particular route dependent on your passport type and recent travel.
