This week, in celebration of Global Money Week from March 17 to 23, we are committed to the financial education of young people and support the 13th edition of this awareness program from the OECD.
Financial education is key to fostering inclusion and enabling young people to become independent and responsible adults. As a financial player, we are dedicated to supporting every young person in acquiring these fundamental skills.
👉 Workshops and webinars in collaboration with CRÉSUS: sessions across France for our apprentices & interns and for the young people of Dispositif Dahlir, Association Le Grand Bleu, Emmaüs Alternatives, E2C PARIS, Association Drop de Béton, and Conservatoire de Paris Cnsmdp, partners of our Foundation.
👉 Educational game "Dilemme" from CRÉSUS: supported since 2013 by the Fondation Société Générale, this fun game has benefited over 600,000 young people, enhancing their financial education. In 2025, the Foundation will also support its deployment in several countries internationally.
👉 "I invite 1 banker into my classroom": several hundred employees participate each year in this operation organized by the French Banking Federation (FBF), raising awareness among French CM1-CM2 students about budgeting, payment methods, savings, and security.
👉 International initiatives: we are deploying various programs such as the Youth Influencers Program from the SG UK Foundation and "Tus finanzas, tu futuro" in partnership with the Asociación Española de Banca (AEB). Financial education sessions are also held in Polynesia, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore. 🌍
