Nobody warned me that one week in Corsica would include:
🌊 water warmer than my bathtub
👀 Napoleon’s death mask
🦪 the freshest seafood I’ve had in ages
✨ midnight conversations under the stars
❤️ and friends who made me feel at home.
⬇️
Bastia quickly became one of my favorite surprises 🤍. Wandering through its charming old streets, diving into Corsican history at the museum 🏛️, unexpectedly coming face to face with Napoleon’s death mask 👀, then ending the day with an incredible seafood platter 🦪, Corsican wine 🍷 and a sunset stroll around the Old Port ⚓.
There were breathtaking views 📸, unforgettable dinners 🍽️ and, naturally, a few highly scientific late-night conversations about men under the stars… backed by zero evidence and plenty of confidence. 😂✨
But when I think about this trip, I don’t think of a place first.
I think of the people. ❤️
Thank you to my wonderful friends for opening your home, filling this week with laughter, generosity and moments I’ll never forget. 🫶
A special thank you to and Bespoke Travel in Europe ✨ for the thoughtful recommendations and hidden gems that made this trip even more memorable.
I came home with a tan ☀️, beautiful memories 🤍 and a suitcase that somehow got heavier along the way. Corsica clearly has excellent conversion rates. 📈🍷😉
Now I’m curious…
Have you ever been to Corsica? 🇫🇷
If yes, I’d love to hear your favorite places, hidden gems or restaurant recommendations for my next trip. 👇✨
And if not… would you add it to your travel list? 🌊🤍
