UNVEILING THE 35 BAIDOO SCHOLARS 2025/2026
In Service to God and Country, we are pleased to unveil BAIDOO SCHOLARS for the 2025/2026 academic year. These are young men and women who have so distinguished themselves academically and demonstrated a need for the scholarship. They have visions and dreams to make the world a better place. 90% of these Scholars have a GPA of 3.60 to 3.99 on a 4-point scale, with 10% in the range of 3.00 to 3.59. These Scholars have beaten competition from several other students to make it this far. They stand among the best in their generation and beyond. It is an honour for the BAIDOO Scholarship Foundation to be a part of their great
journeys.

35 UENR STUDENTS AWARDED BAIDOO SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC YEAR
In service to God and man, we are happy to announce that 35 University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) have been selected to receive various categories of the Baidoo Scholarship for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The Scholarship application for the next academic year was opened in June 2025. Qualification for the application was a GPA of 3.0 or better and the ability to demonstrate a need for the Scholarship. Over 200 students applied. A team headed by the Scholarship Director, Mrs Ellen Baidoo, vetted the documents and shortlisted 40 students for an interview. After the interview, the team decided on 35 of them for the Scholarship award.
As their Scholarship package, each awardee shall receive a minimum of GHC 1000.00 or a maximum of GHC 4,500.00. The Scholarship is proudly sponsored by BAIDOO HOSTELS.
The award of the scholarship is not borne out of having abundance but out of a sincere commitment to invest in tomorrow today for God and Country.

BAIDOO Scholarship Foundation: Interview of Shortlisted Applicants for 2025/2026 Academic Year.
The BAIDOO Scholarship application was open from June 2025 to 17th August 2025.
Over 150 students applied. The team met for a screen and was shortlisted for an interview.
Today we interviewed the shortlisted applicants.
The arduous task of deciding on who needs support among several highly qualified students is always herculean.
In view of this, we always depend on God for the Spirit of discernment when carrying out this exercise.
This is a deliberate investment of the future today in service to God and man, as God continues to grant us strength.

BAIDOO SCHOLARSHIP INTERVIEW FOR 2024/2025 ACADEMIC YEAR
It is always humbling and sometimes emotional to engage intelligent and proactiive students who have one financial challenge or the other. My wife and have this solemn commitment to invest in the lives of these outstanding students to note only become useful citizens but also become positive change agents in the years to comee through the BAIDOO Schoolarship Foundation.
After the close of application on 7th April, 2024, more than hundred students applied. The team painstakingly vetted their documents and shortlisted thirty-one students for interview today. We still have work to do to finally select the deserving students. God is our help.

The BAIDOO Scholarship is based on need and merit.
Eligibility criteria: Only University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) students with a GPA of 3.0 or better and can demonstrate need for financial support qualify to apply.

Latest UENR academic results
Recommendation letter from a UENR Lecturer
Portrait picture
Motivation Letter demonstrating why you need financial assistance

Until all documents are uploaded the application would be deemed incomplete and would not be considered at all.

FRANK ATTA is my name. A level 300 BSc Information Technology student. I want to use this gigantic opportunity to say a very cumbersome thank you to Apostle Anthony Baidoo and Mrs Ellen Baidoo of
Baidoo Scholarship Foundation for their scholarship award.
The scholarship awarded to me since level 100 till date has been a game changer. I had no hope that I could continue schooling due to financial difficulties but their support brought my dying hope alive.
