Last night, we held the first edition of the 'Settling in France' seminar at the exquisite Le Palace de Menthon on Lake Annecy. It was a fantastic opportunity for international residents and soon-to-be residents to gain valuable insights. Our expert panel included professionals offering expertise in various crucial areas:

- Debbie Nye, a French tax specialist, provided insights on tax declarations and visa statuses.
- Vincent BERTHIER-DE BORTOLI (TEP), a French tax attorney, shared knowledge on international tax matters such as fiscal residency and tax treaties.

Mr et Mme Y avaient souscrit un prêt immobilier de 290 000 Euros sur 20 ans en juillet de cette année. Leur banque leur a proposé une assurance groupe couvrant 100% du prêt pour chaque emprunteur. Cependant, cette assurance était coûteuse, avec un coût total de 25 584 Euros pour la durée restante du prêt 😮.
