Alan Sherman will be speaking about U.S. Income Tax basics for French residents. Alan is a US citizen and has been living in Grenoble, France for more than thirty years. He dealt with complex US/France tax issues for many years while pursuing an engineering career in the high-tech industry. With a French degree in wealth management (Conseiller en Gestion de Patrimoine), he is recognized by the AMF in France and, through a series of exams, he has earned the title of Enrolled Agent (authorized to practice before the U.S. IRS). He runs a tax and financial consulting company called Green Sandpiper in Grenoble: https://www.greensandpiper.com/
