Dylan holds a degree in finance from the University of Kentucky and brings a globally informed perspective to the marine insurance industry. Early in his career, he lived and worked in Shanghai, China, gaining valuable experience in international business and cross-border markets—insight that continues to shape his approach to underwriting and client engagement.
With over a decade of industry experience, Dylan has built a reputation for excellence in underwriting strategy, client service, and market expansion within the global marine insurance sector.
Dylan has worked closely with Fort Insurance’s founder and Managing Director, Hugo, for more than ten years, building a strong professional relationship grounded in trust, shared values, and deep experience within the international yacht insurance market.
A passionate traveller, Dylan has spent extensive time working with clients across the world’s premier yachting regions, allowing him to understand the nuances of international ownership, regulatory environments, and the unique risks associated with operating vessels globally.
