Suunnittelemme, valmistamme ja myymme kotimaisia innovatiivisia sähkövarastoja, sähkönlaaturatkaisuja ja palveluita. ötekninen erityisosaaminen. Sähkövarastomme mahdollistavat uusiutuvan energian integroinnin osaksi sähköverkkoa ja luovat asiakkaille moderneja ansaintamalleja uusiutuvan energian mahdollisuuksista. Sähkönlaaturatkaisumme puolestaan vähentävät sähkössä esiintyviä häiriöitä parantaen asiakkaiden toiminnan kannattavuutta ja energiatehokkuutta. Asiakaskuntamme on monipuolinen ja koostuu muun muassa teollisuuden, sähköntuotannon ja uusiutuvan energian alojen toimijoista. Henkilöstömme edustaa kansainvälisesti arvostettua huippuosaamista. 🚴‍♀️Tour de Merus 2026 🚴‍♂️

Merus Power's first community cycling event, Tour de Merus, took place on Monday in beautiful summer weather! 🌞

A great group of Merus colleagues set off together from the office bike shelter towards Pimeensalmi Shipyard. Along the way, we enjoyed exercise, good company, and sunny scenery. At the destination, some participants stopped for pizza, ice cream, or their own snacks before heading home.

The first Tour de Merus turned out just as we had hoped – relaxed, enjoyable, and a great way to spend time together while staying active. Thank you to everyone who joined us! 💙

On wednesday, we had the pleasure of participating in Tampere Sijoitusmessut, where the event attracted a great number of visitors.

We had many great conversations about how electrification and the clean energy transition are driving a rapidly growing market and how Merus Power is addressing one of the key challenges of this transition: ensuring power grid stability and efficiency.

During the event, our CEO, Kari Tuomala, gave a presentation about Merus Power as a scalable growth company.

Merus Power is part of the Finnish business delegation accompanying the Presidential State Visit to Egypt.

Egypt is a developing market where industrial growth and large-scale infrastructure projects are placing increasing demands on power quality and grid reliability.
Merus Power has been active in Egypt since 2015, together with its local partner ETA Electric. We deliver power quality solutions for demanding applications such as steel industry, agriculture, and critical infrastructure.

The visit provides an opportunity to strengthen partnerships and discuss how power quality solutions can support reliable operations in industry and infrastructure in growing markets.

Pauli Kiuru, Member of Parliament and member of the Defense Committee, recently visited Merus Power’s office and factory in Ylöjärvi as well as the energy storage facility in Valkeakoski.

Discussions focused on Finnish energy infrastructure, the role of energy storage in security of supply, and cybersecurity in an increasingly electrified society.

Merus Power has signed an agreement with Nordes Būve for two energy storage facilities to be delivered to Riga for the state energy company Latvenergo. Nordes Būve acts as the general contractor, and Merus Power’s delivery includes key energy storage equipment.

The agreement marks Merus Power’s first energy storage order in Latvia and the company’s entry into the Baltic market.

“This is a significant strategic step for us. As a Finnish technology company, we are building strong exports in our energy storage solutions. It is great that our technological expertise is also gaining trust in new markets,” says Kari Tuomala, CEO of Merus Power.

“We value Merus Power’s strong expertise and European energy storage technology. Working with an experienced partner creates a strong foundation for safe and reliable delivery,” says Dr. Jevgenijs Locovs, Chairman of the Board of Nordes Būve.
