The focus was on the newly established joint venture, outlining steps for project implementation, particularly the upcoming security printing facility in Ethiopia. Toppan Gravity Ethiopia (TGE) is set to become Toppan's manufacturing base in Africa, supporting secure identity development globally. Today, the leadership of Ethiopian Investment Holdings toured the Educational Materials Production & Distribution Enterprise (EMPDE). The purpose of the visit was to gain broader understanding of the production capacity of the enterprise, observe production activities of various educational materials including furnitures, printing of educational books & exams as well as science kits which are critical to the advancement of our education sector. The EIH management encouraged the EMPDE to advance the R&E work ongoing in collaboration with project.

The visit involved constructive dialogues with the enterprise management team to comprehend the challenges they face and to hear about the enterprise's future growth and expansion plan.

The visit aimed at gaining insights into the factory's operations, identify critical challenges that needs attention, observe the production process, and engage in productive meetings with factory and CIC leadership and employee representatives.

Ethiopian Investment Holdings (EIH) organized a subsidiary consultation workshop to delve into its upcoming Subsidiary Transformation Program which is currently under development, drawing from global and domestic experiences and insights.

To ensure a well-rounded perspective, EIH conducted a comprehensive survey among subsidiary companies to understand their past transformation experiences.

During the workshop, findings from the survey were shared, outlining the aspirations, phases, and methodologies of the Subsidiary Transformation Program.
