🌍✨ A Landmark Moment for PKF Ethiopia ✨

Last night, we had the honor of celebrating two defining milestones — our official admission into PKF Global and the inauguration of our new office.

The program was elegantly led by Tabita John as Master of Ceremony. Tilahun Girma FCCA, CPA, MCSI, DipIFRS opened the evening with a warm welcome, followed by inspiring video messages from Theo Vermaak, CEO of PKF Global, and Debbie Dell, Africa Coordinator.

Our managing partner presented ''PKF at a Glance'', outlining PKF’s ambition and strategy, service offerings, collaborative approach, global resources, and the future ahead.

Assistant Professor Dr Dakito Alemu Kesto delivered an insightful message on the broader value of joining international networks — highlighting the evolving role of accounting beyond number crunching, to include risk management and governance, sustainability and ESG, and the development of capital markets.

This celebration reflects our growth, ambition, and readiness to deliver world-class professional services with deep local expertise. We thank our clients, partners, colleagues, and friends who joined us to mark this exciting new chapter.

Karen Lake, tax director at Berkowitz Pollack Brant, has been inducted as Chair of the Florida Institute of CPAs. She’ll lead FICPA’s board of directors, influencing fiscal policy, educating taxpayers and advocating for the profession.

PKF AlBassam manager Usman Abrar has been recognised as a Next-Gen Leader at the prestigious KSA CIO 200 Summit, celebrating his commitment to innovation, digital excellence and leadership in technology.

Members of our transfer pricing services group have been in the spotlight, with Jimy Cruz, TP specialist and partner at PKF Mexico appointed as president of the Transfer Pricing Commission of the National College of Economists. What’s more, PKF-CAP director Sahil Seth has been named as one of Financier Worldwide’s Exceptional Experts in their Transfer Pricing 2025 special edition.
