About the Institution
Bilal Microfinance Institution S.C. (BMFI) is a full-fledged Interest-Free Microfinance Institution, established on February 23, 2024, and officially commenced operations in August 2024.

To strengthen its leadership and financial management capacity, BMFI invites qualified, competent, and experienced professionals to apply for the following vacant positions.
📌 Position 1: Finance and Administration Department Director
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
🔹 Key Qualifications
Education:
BA or MA in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or Economics
Experience:
8 years (for BA holders) or 6 years (for MA holders) of relevant work experience
Proven experience in senior financial and administrative leadership roles.
🔹 Additional Skills & Competencies
Strong practical experience in Core Banking Systems
IFRS trained and well-experienced
Strategic leadership, financial planning, and governance skills
High ethical standards and professionalism
Knowledge of Islamic Finance is an advantage.
📌 Position 2: General Accounts and Budget Division Manager
• Duty Station: Addis Ababa
🔹 Key Qualifications
Education: BA or MA in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or Economics.
Experience: 7/5 years (for BA holders) or 5 years (for MA holders) of relevant work experience
Hands-on experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and account management.
🔹 Additional Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge and application of Core Banking Systems
IFRS trained and well-experienced
Analytical, budgeting, and financial control skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines
Knowledge of Islamic Finance is an advantage.
📌 Position 3: Senior Finance Officer
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
🔹 Key Qualifications
Education:
BA or MA in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or Economics
Experience:
4 years (for BA holders) or 2 years (for MA holders) of relevant work experience.
Proven experience in financial sector.
Additional Skills & Competencies
Strong practical experience in Core Banking Systems
IFRS trained and well-experienced.
High ethical standards and professionalism
Knowledge of Islamic Finance is an advantage.
