Cryptocurrencies Exchange Websites: Complete Fallout due to massive orders!
This is just amazing! The unexpected explosion in demand of cryptocurrencies has been overwhelming and has cause severe system fallouts during the last days... and specially today: most of the Online Exchage Brokers could not process the orders of cryptocurrencies. I tried to enter and buy Bitcoins, Ethereum, Litecoins or Dash... all was impossible, as I got constant error messages from their websites. I have gone through the registration process with at least a dozen different of them with the same result: Complete Fallout of the Exchange Service. I was blown out. It Never has been such an explosion in demand of exchange in cryptocurrencies. It doesn't matter if the cryptocurrencies market is volatile at this point... the cryptocoin fever has reached unprecedented levels.
Each of the past few days has produced around 500,000 new account registrations and over 50,000 new support tickets as stated on their websites — an order of magnitude above the normal levels with up to several million users registering on their sites in order to be able to exchange money into cryptocurrencies. Concurrent users, daily trades and volumes are also hitting new all-time highs as never before.
Riht now, most of the website's performance is extremely degraded and unreliable. Clients can expect severe latency and difficulty interacting with all their webs and API services. As a result of all this, requests will frequently timeout and fail. At the moment, the only solution is to wait and try again later in order to get your money exchanged into cryptocurrencies.
This shows off one of the negative aspects of the systems that are in use and that need to be adressed urgently. A systems upgrade should solve these scaling and load issues. Most of the providers were simply not prepared for the massive spike in transfer processing and current delays are outside of the usual range.... but cryptocurrency funding seems to remain unaffected from these loads.
On top of all this, there have been several reports of phishing attempts through fraudulent support phone numbers advertised on the Internet. Don't panic and look twice. Get the phone numbers right and never give away your password if asked for it. I just give you an advice: Even if the cryptocurrency market is atractive... please trade with caution. It is likely that you may have trouble managing your orders like I had. Wait until the service is restablished and the loads are balanced again.
Worldwide Cryptocurrency Fever outbreak is reaching new heights!!
