🌿 1st May in Spain…
A slower morning. Coffee in the sun.
Shutters half closed, streets a little quieter.
Chairs stacked outside the café…
a table waiting, lunch running late, no one checking the time ☀️
That gentle pause you only really feel on days like today.
✨ Fun fact: Día del Trabajador has been a public holiday in Spain for over 100 years — traditionally marked with gatherings and marches, and symbolised by the red carnation, a sign of workers’ unity ❤️
These days, it still brings people together… just in a quieter, more meaningful way 💛
Not just a bank holiday —
but a pause.
A moment to breathe.
A chance to just be 🤍
Enjoy it 💛
