⛽ FUEL PRICE RELIEF IN SPAIN THIS SEPTEMBER 🇪🇸

Some welcome news for motorists in Spain – changes to the fuel tax discounts come into effect from 1st September 2026.

🚗 Diesel: The tax reduction increases from 10 cents to 20 cents per litre.

⛽ Petrol: The reduction changes from 10 cents to 5 cents per litre.

The larger discount on diesel has been triggered after diesel prices rose by 15.7% year-on-year in July, activating the Government’s safeguard mechanism.

With fuel prices having risen considerably over the summer, the increased diesel reduction should offer some relief to drivers during September. 🚘

Remember – prices can still vary considerably between petrol stations, so it can pay to shop around!
